Sale coach Phillipe St Andre says he likes Luke McCalister at fullback. McCalister came on at 15 during Sale’s 24 to17 win over Bristol at the weekend. St Andre says McCalister is good enough to play fullback at an international level.

In the Energy Cup final, Marty Holah was man of the match as the Ospreys dispatched Leicester 23-6 at Twickenham.

Anton Oliver scored two tries as Tana Umaga’s Toulon beat Limoges 37to14. Toulon is seven points clear at the top of France’s second division.

The world’s top referees could soon be employed by the International Rugby Board. IRB referee boss Paddy O’Brien says making the Refs work for the IRB instead of the national unions would increase the independence of match officials.

Northern hemisphere nations may be warming up to the ELVs. John O’Neill’s toupee says France, Italy and Scotland are in favour of the ELVs. O’Neill says opposition in England and Wales has weakened while Ireland remains strongly anti ELV. He says critics in the northern hemisphereare concerned the ELV’s are southern hemisphere plot.

The British and Irish Lions will tour South Africa next year. The Lions will play 10 games in the republic including 3 tests against the world champion Springboks. The Lions squad is expected to contain 400 players.

Only 400 players? but there’s about 550 in the Guiness Premiership alone! Poor wee souls having to miss out.

Actually think the ref idea is good one. Might be a bit controversial to being with, but eventually it should lead to a more even interpretation between each hemisphere.

C’mon the Highlanders this week too. Everyone else gets to beat up the Bulls so here’s hoping we get a crack as well.

What we have suspected all along is out finally: three-way man love going on between Staf, Jed and His Flossness. Beautiful! So pure! Brought tears to my eyes, truly.

Bring on the S14 Final ARC!!!

Have you guys seen what Conrad Smith, Jas and Rugger are up to on SmallBlacksTV?
I think they deserve big kudos and maybe and interview? Getting kids interested and enjoying rugby the most important thing for the future of the game. The rest is just journo fodder.
Big ups for the Team at SmallBlacksTV and SmallBlacks!

Big WELCOME BACK to Dr. Floss who made the Little England Pony Club’s 22 and is likely to get back on the paddock against the Clap Corps on Friday.

For all of you Dr. Floss fans, His Flossness recently celebrated his birthday (April 14th). And remember that Staffy (Melodie’s words, not mine) was quite keen about the Doctor on this week’s you-know-what.

Also on the LEPC Cavalry this weekend:

Starting 15: Scott Hamilton, Sean Maitland, Casey Laulala, Tim Bateman, Caleb Ralph, Stephen Brett, Andrew Ellis, Mose Tuiali’i, Richie McCaw (captain), Kieran Read, Ali Williams, Brad Thorn, Greg Somerville, Corey Flynn, Ben Franks.

Reserves: Ti’i Paulo, Wyatt Crockett, Ross Filipo (Dr. Floss), Nasi Manu, Kahn Fotuali’i, Hamish Gard, Kade Poki.

Lets face it, the Clap Corps are on the recovery but are about to be out-everythinged by the Cantabrian Cavalry.

(btw, where is everyone today? am I the only one not at work?)

yes, keep him at fullback. right up until a crucial world cup playoff game, then shift him back to centre. it could be a tradition.

Gato, I am appauled at your demanour towards my fine half-wit, clamydia ridden bogans… in fact you’d better backtrack your way back to the coffee shop: you dropped your other eye while getting your morning latte!!!

Don’t make out this CRU team to be some sort of unstoopable force; the backline has been bodged together from the spare parts bin & the pack consists of a pretty-boy-pooftah-prick, a crim and a skinhead in the frontrow…. not the sorta stuff that’ll scare Sione & co!!!

And Re: the RWC review..;
‘the AB’s played arrogantly, ignoring Henry’s pleading’s to take a drop goal’… NO FUCKING SHIT!!!!!

An ambush! It was a bloody Clamydiaville ambush!

Bloody hell, fair is fair. The Chiefs pulled off a hell of a game and Stephen Donald had a memorable night. That chip-and-catch to then offload the pass was the most beautiful thing this S14 season has seen yet.

Respect, Chiefs! Hamiltron is becoming a paddock to be vary off.
